Free Bonus Stuff

They’re insidious; they find their way into our lives. And you know what? We can’t get rid of them. We keep them. Because we know they’re free. Because we know they might come in useful someday.

You know what I mean. It’s those bonus items that come with things we buy. Things like:

·         Rubber bands

·         Twist ties

·         Plastic margarine tubs

·         Cookie tins

·         Jam and spaghetti jars

·         Shirt pins

·         Safety pins

·         Small gift boxes

·         Bubble wrap

·         Supermarket plastic bags

They are bonuses, they're free and oh, so useful, so we do what our parents did. We keep them. We just can’t find the heart to throw them away.
