While driving
north on Blacow Street on our way to Cabrillo Park Cafe on Stevenson in
Fremont, I spotted a street sign that reminded me of my home town.
Hilo, of
course, is where I grew up on the Big Island of Hawaii. Population 43,263 (2010
U.S. Census), it's the fifth-largest city in the United States, area-wise.
That reminds
me. I should visit Hilo one of these days soon and see how much it's changed in
the last dozen years or so since I last visited.
