A Short Shutdown

I'm heading off for Las Vegas tonight, with a short, one-day side-trip to St. George, Utah, where I plan to visit the Dinosaur Discovery Site and Zion National Park.

This early-February Las Vegas trip has been a recent tradition, and it allows me to watch the Super Bowl in a huge casino ballroom jam-packed with hordes of screaming fans, all of whom are drinking beer and munching on tail-gate goodies.

I might even come home with a souvenir or two.

So, the lights in left field will be turned off for a few days while I wander around in Utah and Las Vegas, until I return next Tuesday.

Drive carefully, don't forget to buckle up, be kind to everyone, and I'll see you when I get back.
